Brian Stertz, my son Ryan Thies, and I tracked down a night tornado off in the distance in Northwest Kansas.  This tornado was north of Highway 40 in Logan County Kansas.  The muddy, dirt backroads roads of Kansas prevented us from pursuing the tornado to get a closer look.
