June 12, 2004

The second day of our two day trip, our friend Kevin Kohler, my son Ryan and I positioned ourselves early in the day in Southern Nebraska, but realized that better parameters were going to be in Southern Kansas.  We worked our way south and unfortunately arrived too late and missed the best show of the day in Mulvane, Kansas, but we were able to catch up to the storm near the town of Rock, Kansas and saw the full cycle of the northwest moving tornado.
