Ryan and I at the last minute decided to follow and overtake a storm that busted through St. Louis. This storm was a long, lasting derecho that had 70-90mph out of the odd direction of Northeast to Southwest. This storm also had some embedded tornado warnings. The major extent of this storm was the wind damage that downed numerous trees, many of which fell across the road and onto personal property as well as taking out many power lines. The biggest damage occurred in the southern part of the City of St. Louis, in the Soulard Area.
