Ryan and I headed out for what would be the failure chase of the year. After heading in the wrong direction, we scrambled back through the back roads to get us back to the proper area for the approaching cells. Upon hitting I-44, I made the poor decision to track one extra exit to the west and try to position on the cell from there. That put me in the hail and bad road options. The chase quickly came to an end when the car hydroplaned off of the newly blacktopped road and got totaled in a stand of trees.
