On the first day of a two day trip, Brian Stertz, our friend Kellie Kruse, my son Ryan Thies, and I found ourselves in Northeast Oklahoma. We lined ourselves up with a Tornadic Supercell coming out of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. As it neared us at dusk, we began seeing power flashes and then the tornado appeared over the tree line. It weakened as we watched it go by. We followed the storm, but it would not generate another tornado.
