I was unable to chase with our team today due to a work commitment, but the chase team of Brian Stertz and my son Ryan Thies along with guests Jeremy Brendel and Ryan Hensley tracked down a violent tornado near Elmer, OK. Because of the sparsely populated area, the violent tornado was only given an EF3 rating.





 
The team also encountered Baseball Sized Hail near the tornado as well which ultimately did much damage to the car.
