June 25, 2021 (Ryan Thies Summary)
This was a day that heavy rain was the primary threat, but in the evening, a line of storms approached to my northwest that showed some signs of rotation. I decided to get out and investigate. I moved west on Interstate 70 in St. Charles County, Missouri, then north on Highway 61. I exited Highway 61 just south of Moscow Mills, Missouri on Route "U" as I viewed the gust front.
As I watched, a wall cloud and rear flank downdraft came into view to the northwest.
