June 12, 2022

During the morning, there was a severe storm working its way southeast through Central Illinois.  My son Ryan and I decided to venture out to see the storm as it remained warned.  We caught the severe warned storm as it came out of Litchfield, Illinois.  The storm was a huge hail maker. We worked our way east along the southern edge of the storm and as the storm neared Greenville, Illinois, it was in a weakening mode so we let the storm go over us to see what remained of the hail.  We were pelted with mostly penny size hail with a few being nickel size.
